I wish to live permanently in Japan. Please tell me about the requirements.
　　A permanent residency visa has no restrictions on period or activities until a foreigner granted this status of residence departs Japan. General requirements for the permanent residence are as follows, however, some requirements maybe lightened up depending on the current status of residence.
  1. He or she maintains good conduct.
  2. He or she has financial resources or technical skills to maintain an independent livelihood.
  3. His or her obtaining Japanese Permanent Residency will benefit Japan (In principle he or she must have lived in Japan over 10 years, must not have been sentenced to a fine or imprisonment, must fulfuill his or her public responsibility such as tax payment.)
