"Easy Japanese Language Course" for fiscal year 8

Are you familiar with "easy Japanese"?
"Easy Japanese" refers to a simple and easy-to-understand form of Japanese, adapted to be easily understood by foreigners unfamiliar with the language. It is a form of communication that takes into consideration a wide range of people, including foreigners, young children, the elderly, and people with disabilities. With just a little ingenuity, you can make your language easier to understand and it will be useful in various situations, from daily life to disaster situations.
This time, we have invited Ms. Akie Yatsushiro, who is working to spread easy Japanese both within and outside the prefecture, to teach us the basics, focusing on the origins and philosophy of easy Japanese, and practical "communication points" that can be used immediately.

In the practical session, you will learn about the skills and mindset required during disasters through workshops and discussions, while visualizing specific scenarios!
