Subsidy for childbirth costs
National Health Insurance does not cover the cost of normal childbirth, which amounts to around 300,000?400,000 yen (problems in childbirth are covered by medical insurance). (1) Personal seal (2) Mother and Child Health Handbook (3) Health insurance card (4) Bank account number (5) Receipt for your last payment of National Health Insurance premiums If you are enrolled in social insurance through your employer, please submit a claim through your employer.
