How to apply for prefectural public housing
Applications are invited via announcements in newspapers, on the radio, in local information publications, and via a telephone service (in Japanese; tel. 052-971-4118). Application forms are available from the management office in each residential building, and from municipal offices other than those in Nagoya. The following documents are required in addition to the application form. (1) Certificates Detailing the Registered Matters of Alien Registration for all members of the household. (2) Copies of the reverse sides of the alien registration cards for all members of the household. (3) Most recent Certificate of Earnings issued by the local mayor (if the household has an income) (4) Most recent Tax Exemption Certificate issued by the local mayor (if the household has no income) (5) Copy of housing rental contract, certificate of payment of rent, or equivalent documentation (if living in rented accommodation) For more details, please contact the Aichi Prefectural Housing Corporation (in Japanese only; tel. 052-954-1362, Mon.-Fri. 9:00?17:00).
